The Institute is proud to announce its new funding partner, the Trust for Civil Society in Central and Eastern Europe

The Trust for Civil Society in Central and Eastern Europe awarded the Athena Institute with a major grant allowing it to continue to carry out its monitoring and research activities. The Trust for Civil Society in Central and Eastern Europe was founded by the Atlantic Philanthropies, the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, the Ford Foundation, the German Marshall Fund of the United States, the Open Society Institute and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund with the mission to support the long term sustainable development of civil society and non-governmental organizations in Central and Eastern Europe.

The Athena Institute is proud to launch its partnership with the Trust for Civil Society in Central and Eastern Europe that while strengthens the sustainability of key monitoring and analytical functions of the Institute, will also contribute to maintain the independence and integrity of the institution.
