The Home Front Besieged – Islamist Extremists Pressuring the West

ISIS is attractive for young radicalised Muslims because they welcome everybody regardless of the religious canon they follow and they do not discriminate against foreigners amongst their ranks, in other words Western Muslims can climb high within the outfit in a very fast pace. On the other hand the secret services and governments of the home countries of these fighters are deeply worried by the arguably huge success of ISIS amongst Muslim immigrants and their worries are far from being unfounded. The Australian police force just arrested fifteen Islamist extremists in Sidney, who – they state – wanted to carry out small-scale terrorist attacks against soft targets on Australian soil.
